Course assistant :

The course aims to enable students to: – Understand building service design ad installations of mechanical, sanitary and electric building services. – Describe all preliminary and final architectural design and execution drawings. – Apply appropriate techniques of analysis in order to select and use innovative technical systems. – Determine a theoretical approach in dealing with new and advanced technology. – Prepare technical drafts, detailed drawings manually and using specialized computer programs. – Apply knowledge of information and building technology as well as engineering practice to solve design application problems.

Course objectives :

This course introduces students to technical systems in buildings, the schematic methods of design and drawing techniques of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Also, performing technical drafts and detailed drawings manually and using CAD. Arrange technical architectural presentations and selecting appropriate material for each specific purpose.
