This course tends to understand the usage of simple physical explanation, with reference to examples from actual devices , the physics of low dimensional semiconductors will be introduced ,such as field –effect transistors and quantum wells.
Course objectives :
1.Introduction to electronic & electrical circuits. 2.Differences between various measuring instruments. 3.V-I characteristic of Diode circuits. 4.V-I characteristic of Zener Diode circuits. 5.Half Wave Rectifier. 6.Full Wave Rectifier. 7.Characteristic of semiconductor photodiode circuits. 8.Midterm exam 9.Characteristic of LDR circuits. 10.Characteristic of LED circuits. 11.Characteristic of NPN transistor circuits. 12.Final Project

Practical Labouratory sessions & Report= 70 marks Final project=30 marks
