At the completion of this course, the student will: Further study of design and fabrication of removable partial denture frameworks is included in this course. Concepts such as wrought wire clasp design, enhanced aesthetic considerations, and the criteria used in selecting and setting various types of artificial teeth will be explored. This course also will involve an intensification of the Theory and applied techniques in the construction of chrome-cobalt dentures; spruing, investing, casting and finishing of the metal frameworks; soldering and repair; specialty appliance fabrication and design techniques.

Course objectives :

This course focuses on the study of an introduction to removable partial dentures. Topics include temporary partials and treatment partials with wrought clasps.
