After completing this course, students should: 1. Have acquired a concise knowledge about the cell structure using both Light and Electron microscopes. 2. Have acquired knowledge about the molecular composition of the various components of the cells and their specialization to form the different tissues and organs of the human body. 3. Be able to illustrate histological structures of human body systems. 4. Have acquired new anatomical knowledge essential for practicing pharmacy. 5. Be able to utilize anatomical facts to localize & explian affectd organs. 6. Have developed an independent study habit to learn anatomy & embryology
Course objectives :
The course aims at giving the students a general knowledge about the cell structure, by both Light and Electron microscopes, and the molecular composition of the various components of the cells and their specialization to form the different tissues and organs of the human body. It includes also the anatomy of various systems of the human body. These systems are: digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, urinary, reproductive, skeletal & central nervous systems. Clinical and surface anatomy may be included in related topics. It also contains the early development of the embryo
