The main purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the basic principles of removable partial prosthodontics. They will learn diagnosis, treatment planning and mouth preparation along with the basic sequence of treatment as it relates to the delivery and maintenance of an RPD

Course objectives :

After completing this course, students should be able to: • Interpretate the clinical findings from diagnosis with the treatment planning for RPD construction • Discuss The biological and mechanical principles of designing of RPD. • Identify and overcome forces acting on Removable partial denture. • Perform the clinical and practical steps of RPD construction. • Identify procedures and conditions for serviceability of RPD.
