The aim of this course is to introduce students to the history of Modern Egyptian Civilization starting from the reign of Mohamed Ali until the end of the 20th century. The course includes the political and social history of modern Egypt as well as the literary movements and the prominent figures of that period.

Course objectives :

This course gives an over view about the modern Egyptian History and this by the study of its different periods & governors.
