This course aims at enabling the students to familiarize with the general features of Modern literary writing of the 19th and 20th centuries, and to acquire the ability to analyze, critique and appreciate the aesthetics of literary texts on a systematic basis.

Course objectives :

On completion of this course, students will be able to: • To preserve and use new vocabulary and terminology specific to that literary era. • Use modern means of obtaining information. • Can analyze and criticize and defend his criticism views.. • Determine the time of writing the text through the words contained in grammatical structures and purposes.
