The Enzyme in health & disease course provides an integrated picture of the mechanisms underlying human metabolic diseases and the disease related to deficiency in enzyme regulate the metabolism of biomolecules included carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nulcleic acids, in addition to the current approaches to their investigation. The course covers the important features of Carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and essential nutritional compounds including vitamins and minerals (metabolism, their regulation and related diseases). In addition to understand and explain the operation of living systems through the study of their chemical, molecular, and cellular properties. It also gives a comprehensive description and understanding of chemical processes important in human body. These also represent the fundamentals of any Biochemical or Medical lab Techniques.
