The course contains full description for principles related to the interaction of animal viruses with host cells. It discusses the chemical and physical properties of viruses and their classification cultivation. Virology investigations are assay of viruses, molecular events during viral replication and morphogenesis. Virology is essential to investigate the persistent infections as the cause of diseases and neoplasia.
At the end of the course, the students will be able to;
1-Describe the principles related to the interaction of animal viruses with host cells.
2-Investigate the assay of viruses, molecular events during viral replication and morphogenesis.
3-Detect and valuate the persistent infections as the cause of diseases and neoplasia.
