At the end of the course, the students will be able to; 1-The purpose of this course is to bring together scientists from different backgrounds (physics, physical and organic chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, engineering, medicine and industry) interested in different aspects of interactions of biomaterials with biological and model membranes

Course objectives :

Mechanical properties of biologic and synthetic materials- strain analysis- visco-elasticity – tissue response to implants and vice versa – and implant materials for interfacing with hard and soft tissues and blood.
